Eduvate presented a guide to help Johnson & Johnson employees improve their emotional intelligence at work to enhance their communication, collaboration, and teamwork by enabling individuals to understand and manage their own emotions and respond effectively to others. This interactive session led by Mrs. Yara Rouhana engaged Johnson & Johnson employees with activities aimed to increase their understanding and empathy with their team members, leading to increased engagement and productivity. Employees with developed emotional intelligence can manage conflicts empathetically and find constructive solutions, preventing negative consequences. It also aids in stress management, allowing employees to regulate their own stress levels and support their colleagues.
Furthermore, this interactive session ained to increased employees’ awareness about the value of emotional intelligence in improving customer service roles, as it enables employees to understand and respond to customers’ emotions, enhancing client relationships and satisfaction. Additionally, being emotionally intelligent would promote employees’ adaptability and resilience, help them navigate organizational changes and offer support to their colleagues.
