Eduvate Co-founder and CEO Dr. Sandra Baroudi has successfully completed Quality Matters Peer Reviewer course

Became QM-Certified Peer Reviewer. Through this course, Dr. Baroudi gained knowledge and skills to apply the QM Specific Review Standards to an online course in order to ensure quality assurance in online and innovative digital teaching and learning environments.

The Peer Reviewer Course is designed to train experienced online faculty and instructional designers to become certified peer reviewers for Quality Matters (QM). Dr. Baroudi spent three weeks applying specific review standards to an online course, locating evidence, making decisions based on the evidence, and writing helpful recommendations. Dr. Baroudi completed a practice review of an online course using eight specific review standards from the QM Rubric. This practice review is done in the QM Course Review Management System (CRMS), which is used for real course reviews by QM-Certified Peer Reviewers.

Dr. Baroudi is now qualified pee reviewer and included in the QM database of Reviewers and is recognized as a candidate for participating in official QM-Managed course reviews for other organizations.Participating in course reviews for external organizations offered Dr. Baroudi valuable experience that can benefit with her ability to evaluate and improve the design and delivery of Eduvate’s online training courses.
