Eduvate participation in a panel discussion to empower educators and students and elevate their happiness at wellbeing during Growmore's Education Innovation event

Growmore’s recent event, “Innovation in Education: Educators as the Architects of Change,” was an immersive experience that highlighted the pivotal role of educators in shaping a transformative educational landscape—one that fosters appreciation, collaboration, and inspiration. Eduvate was honoured to be invited to participate in a panel discussion aimed at elevating educator and student happiness and well-being to reimagine the joy of teaching and learning.
The event was enriched by the invaluable contributions of esteemed keynote speakers, Rola Said and Ghadeer Abu-Shamat, who illuminated the audience with actionable insights. Rola Said, from the Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA), emphasized the profound purpose of education: nurturing every child’s flourishing, underscoring the vital need for continuous innovation in education to equip children with the skills for a sustainable future.

Ghadeer Abu-Shamat, representing GEMS Education, brought forth extensive research that deeply engaged the audience. Stressing the essence of change in education, she highlighted how even small adjustments can make a monumental difference in student outcomes. Her conclusion emphasized the art of managing change and the necessity of innovation—an inspiring call to become architects of change.
Eduvate’s active involvement in the panel discussions was commendable. Moderated by Rola Karanouh from Lycée Français International de Dubaï, with invaluable contributions from Layla Rajah from Sharjah American International School and Sandra Baroudi (PhD, FHEA, QMPRC). Eduvate’s passionate exploration into the impact of well-being on educators and students added depth to this crucial conversation. Eduvate, represented by Dr Sandra Baroudi, shed the light on the importance of integrating social and emotional learning in the school curricula and daily discourse of teachers and parents.
