As educators and academics, we strive to improve the quality of education and professional development programs by elevating educators’ and professionals’ practices for a sustainable and first-class learning.

Has a PhD in leadership and management in education and is a widely published researcher. She is an assistant professor at Zayed university and has an extensive experience in training and coaching school leaders and in-service and pre-service teachers. She is a reviewer for international academic journals, member of the Research Ethics Committee at Zayed university and a member of the Curriculum Review Committee at the college of Interdisciplinary Studies.

Dr. Sandra Baroudi

Is an expert in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM), curriculum design and development, teaching and learning, assessment, and schools accreditation. She has a PhD in Educational Management, Leadership and Policy and is an approved accreditation lead inspector from New England Association of School and Colleges NEASC & Council of International School CIS.

Dr. Areej El Sayary

Yara Rouhana holds a psychology degree from McGill University in Canada and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in clinical psychology at USEK, Lebanon. Yara also holds a diploma in professional teaching and is a certified theta healer. With more than 8 years of experience in the field, Yara acquired a set of unique skills that helped shape her identity as an educator and mental health advocate. Her patience, empathy, open-mindedness, and genuine philanthropic personality helped her reach hundreds of people from all ages and walks of life. She is a ‘holistic’ educator who focuses on all aspects of students' learning, especially their wellbeing. Her main purpose, both professionally and personally, is to raise awareness about the role of mental health and its impact in the Arab world, especially in the educational context.


Yara Rouhana

Samar Barakeh is an educator with over 15 years of experience in the field. Holds a dual Master's degree in Education and in Education Management and Policy from Deakin University, Australia, Throughout her career, Samar has focused on analysis and triangulation of school's internal and external assessment data and by linking the student's performance to specific learning standards and skills.  She has conducted workshops for teachers and school leaders in assessment design, questioning techniques and data-driven planning which has improved the school's performance ratings by the educational authorities in the UAE.

Samar Barakeh

Samer Abou Daher graduated from the Lebanese American University and completed his Executive MBA from Hult International Business School. Living in Dubai for the last 20 years, Samer has worked with diverse teams. He led several businesses in the food and beverage industry, like HORECA Trade, Fonterra Brand, Kraft Heinz, and Arla Foods. Currently, he is the Director of People & Culture at Bidfood Middle East. He is driving a cultural transformation for his organization through building future leaders who will be able to achieve their company’s commercial goals. Samer is a professional salesperson and a qualified negotiator, trained & certified by the Academy for Sales Excellence in Dubai and the Schranner Negotiation Institute in Zurich. He is an expert in high stake conflict negotiations, helping people and organizations to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. He uses the FBI Hostage Negotiations techniques to build emotional & professional connections in business to win more deals, sustainably and more profitably. 

Samer Abou Daher

Is a senior instructor at the College of Interdisciplinary Studies at Zayed University and has received her MA in Education (TESOL) and is currently doing her PhD in Special Education and Inclusion at the British University in Dubai. Suha is also the coordinator of Ta’alouf, a project led by Al Jalila Foundation and Zayed University with the aim of training teachers in UAE schools on inclusion and special education.

Dr. Suha Karaki

Nour Kassir is a passionate Science teacher with a BS in Chemistry and Master’s in Education. She has seven years of teaching experience with a keen interest in sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She believes that teachers can play a vital role in achieving a more sustainable future and embed sustainability into their lessons whenever possible. She is in the process of receiving certification as a google trainer and another certificate in sustainability in education.

Nour Kassir

Elie El Khoury is a Business Instructor and Academic Assessment Leader at the University of the People, sharing his knowledge and expertise in the business field. Holds a Master in Business Administration from UoPeople and is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration from the Swiss School of Management, with a proven track record of success in healthcare and education. He has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, as an Operations Manager at MEDevice - Lebanon. 

Elie El Khoury

Dr. Heba Chaya

Rola Karanouh is the Head of the English department and Director of the BFI program at Lycée Français International in Dubai and Lycée Montaigne in Lebanon. With a background in Science Education and a Master's degree in educational management and policy, she integrates her scientific knowledge into English and Science education. Leading the English department in Dubai since 2009 and in Lebanon since 2017, Rola has also served as the director for the BFI program since 2021. She demonstrates exceptional leadership, inspiring both students and faculty members towards academic and professional success. Rola is known for her innovative teaching methods and effective use of technology to create engaging and relevant learning experiences, preparing students for success in a constantly evolving global landscape.

Rola Karanouh

Has been in the video games industry for 10 years, whereby he worked with one of the largest AAA publishers in the world, Ubisoft, and released three games worldwide. He has mentored students at higher education institutions such as AUB and SAE Dubai, and is currently a lecturer at SAE in their game design undergraduate program.

Nassib Azar

Is an undergraduate student at New York University Abu Dhabi. She studies Social Research and Public Policy, and is particularly interested in education policy. She is currently writing her thesis on the Challenges and Opportunities of Integrating Technology Across Charity Schools in the UAE.

Budoor Alrahmah

Is an educator with a Master’s Degree in Education and over 20 years of experience in and out of the classroom. Throughout her career, she has delved into different aspects of education such as curriculum development, teaching practices, differentiation, and teacher training to meet the needs of the 21st century learners and to implement the NGSS engineering practices in STEM instruction.

Karma Al Naccache

Is a self-directed educational expert with over twelve years of experience and noticeable success in school improvement. She has a Master degree of Education in Management and Educational Leadership. She is proficient in empowering teachers to raise students’ engagement and achievement in Mathematics. She can effectively develop and implement innovative methods to analyze and interpret assessment data to improve teaching and learning.
