Graphical Presentation Skills for Teachers

This course is designed to equip educators with the basic principles of visual presentations that are simple to apply yet go a long way to conveying lessons, concepts, and ideas. Participants will also learn to leverage the use of PowerPoint when teaching and delivering content to students. In this course, participants will explore visual delivery of content and work, throughout the course, on a project that builds on what they have learned. Participant learning will focus on 3 key pillars of presentations: understanding how the mind reads visuals, composing presentations based on principles of composition, and leveraging Powerpoint and its tools to achieve the goals.

What you will learn ?

• Demonstrate the application of the “3 reads” on lesson slides
• Practice the creation of personal templates to create lesson presentations
• Apply the basic principles of visual presentations on lesson decks
• Evaluate the graphical presentation skills by developing a personal project
